Does Bahama Breeze have procedures in place to minimize
cross-contact in the
kitchen?
The restaurant is not an allergen-free environment. Bahama Breeze
makes every effort to provide complete and current
content information; however, due to the handcrafted nature of our menu items and
variations in vendor supplied
ingredients, we cannot make a guarantee regarding the allergen content of any menu item.
Guests with a special food
sensitivity or dietary need should not rely solely on this information as the basis for
deciding whether to consume a
particular menu item and are individually responsible for ensuring that any such menu
item meets their individual
dietary requirements.
What kind of oil is used in the fryer?
We use highly refined soy oil in our fryers. Based on information
from our suppliers, this oil is highly refined and
does not contain the soy allergen.
Why don’t we provide information on allergens other than the "Big
9"?
The FDA regulates allergen labeling for the ''big 9'' (milk, eggs,
peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy, wheat, and
sesame), so we can source this information from our suppliers. Because we recognize that
our guests may be allergic to
other ingredients, we are working to collect more allergen information from our
suppliers. If you need information
regarding allergies beyond the “big 9” please contact guest relations.
