• 2 tamarind husks
• 2 oz of your favorite tequila (We recommend 1800 Reposado tequila)
• ½ oz Cointreau
• 1 oz Tamarind puree
• 3 oz Sweet & Sour
• 1 oz Simple Syrup
• Chipotle Salt
• Ice
• Hot water
• Lime slices
PROCEDURES
Tamarind Puree:
Remove fruit from 2 tamarind husks
Place in bowl of hot water
Let sit for ½ hour
Remove seeds
Whisk puree
Combine all ingredients into shaker:
2 oz of your favorite tequila (We recommend 1800 Reposado tequila)
½ oz Cointreau
1 oz Tamarind puree
3 oz Sweet & Sour
1 oz Simple Syrup
½ cup of ice to chill
Ready to Serve:
Shake! Shake! Shake!
Rim Margarita glass with Chipotle Salt
Pour into Margarita glass filled with ice
Garnish with lime slices
